![]() ![]() Too many situational things out of your control to line up for a moderate effect for me, personally, although I do think the perk itself is pretty cool, I just wish it automatically worked on the closest generator or two to make it at least slightly consistent. It's a great effect, but relies on you being on a small map, downing survivors near generators, and having the perk not be on cooldown. ![]() Surge is pretty bad in my opinion though. Surge is probably best on Ghostface, pretty good on clown with his one shot addon, and good on other killers that can get to gens quickly but still somewhat or entirely rely on their m1 for downs like Demo, Spirit, and Freddy. Surge is best on killers with one hit down basic attacks that can sneak up on and down survivors before they get too far from the generator, although general stealth killers can be good too. It's actively bad on killers that give survivors reason to heal, which is mostly just Oni right now, plus there's an argument that Thanatophobia encourages survivors to heal to remove the debuff. It goes well with anything that keep survivors injured longer as well, like Sloppy Butcher, Thanatophobia, Dying Light, and any killer specific addons that apply mangled or broken. I'd generally suggest Stridor over Bloodhound, you'll get a bit more consistency, but if you're set on using it, suggestions are above. It's generally not a great perk though, thanks to blood trails already being fairly easy to follow combined with injured survivors being pretty loud without Iron Will. Not really needed on Plague thanks to the big green aura survivors give off while sick, but it can be good on Legion as well as any stealth killer that can catch injured survivors off guard, especially Ghostface and Myers whose one shot powers give survivors less reason to heal. Bloodhound will get the most use out of killers that are great at keeping survivors injured. ![]()
