I believe I installed 2 Armoury and 1 Storage room modules on my ship, but I have been considering swapping one of the Armoury tabs for another Storage room. The Scout class can also unlock a special late game ability using the Target Marker if you have an Armoury installed.Īdvanced Science Lab grants a Research Tab and increases research point gain by 10%. If you've stacked a lot of Item Find+ gear, you may find yourself filling up 2 or 3 of both tabs on long missions.Īrmoury grants 1 Storage tab but also increases drop rate. Looting Poor to Exceptional quality items will go right into inventory, but Rare to Unique items go to the Research Tab first so both tabs matter for looting purposes. Storage rooms give 1 Storage tab and 1 Research Tab, so they give the largest space increase. I really thought it was going to go to at least double that.Īgreed, 6 does feel limiting, though perhaps that was intentional on the devs part. I think the higher level stuff does more, like there's a storage room module I got early on that just adds an item tab, but there's an armory module I found later that adds an item tab while also increasing item drops by 10%.Ī max of 6 buildable rooms seems really low though given the huge variety of rooms available, and the fact I found and bought a ship with 6 buildable rooms by level 25. In a twist of fate, your journey becomes a one-way ticket with an entire galaxy of worlds to explore, factions to encounter, and epic gear to collect. The largest ship type has 11 rooms with 6 buildable slots. Pixel Privateers is a Squad Based Tactical RPG Loot ‘Em Up that will send your team of mercenaries through a mysterious wormhole on a quest to gather technology for your employer. You'll want to keep an eye out on the "Buildable" count instead, as that reflects the actual number of modules you can add to your ship. It doesn't actually seem to mean anything. I am currently running 2 on mine for a total of 11, which is a reasonable number (8 for missions, 3 in reserve), given that you'll have up to 6 rooms to play with on the largest ships.Īs for ship size, I wouldn't get distracted by the "Rooms" count. You'll be looking for the Living Quarters Module: Įach can hold 3 additional Privateers. Aiming for 7-8 crew members depending on if I need space for another type of room at some point. I've actually just recently bought my 4th ship with 8 room capacity now. So far there have been only 3 module types related to rooms, but none with a description implying that it allows for an additional crew member in the ship (as in bedroom or something?). I don't really know what I'm looking for just that it should appear in the 'misc' tab. I still haven't seen any modules for rooms to add more crew members.
